The publication accompanying the exhibition Devětsil 1920–1931 brings together eight comprehensive studies richly illustrated with visual material, mapping the activities of the avant-garde group Devětsil, which was active in Prague and Brno in the 1920s. Through examples from individual fields—including visual art, architecture, photography, film, theatre, and typography—it presents the poetics of artistic production at the time, oriented towards the modern world and progressive currents in international art. The publication was issued in Czech and English by the Prague City Gallery.
